I was the BN TACFIRE Chief for 3/16th FA We had the distinct honor of providing the firing data for the very first artillery round fired on foreign soil with data computed by TACFIRE. Participated in two REFORGERS, 81 and 82. Competed in Commando Competition in Trier France in 1982 with teams from all NATO nations.

My first 10 months I was the BN FDC Chief for the 1/38th FA. After the arrival of my replacement, I spent last 3 months as a Liaison NCO, working with Capt. Homer Worrell. For the newer guys, a Liaison NCO is what is now known as Fire Support NCO. When I first entered the ARMY , the 13E MOS covered FDC, FO, and Liaison duties There was no 13F.
