Joined Co B 527th Eng Bn (Cbt Hv) in 1980. Unit was reorganized to Co B 769th Eng Bn (Cbt Hv). Spent 22 years in these units. 7 of these years were active duty (AGR). Was activated for Desert Storm and did a tour in Saudi Arabia. Worked my way up form Private E-1 to the Units First Sergeant E-8

I had a number of MOS's during my employment. Heavy Equipment Operator, Crane Operator, Electrician, Carpentry/Mason. I became a Squad Leader during the Desert Storm Campaign and after we returned home I became a Platoon Sgt for the Vertical Platoon and then the Horizontal Platoon and later I was promoted to First Sergeant.
