Initially worked as the J9A - developing Power Point Skills and tracking funding spent. Eventually I acted as a Contingency Contracting Officer as well as tracking and assigning the various purchasing requirements that were assigned to our field office.

Assigned as the Supply Department Head for the maiden deployment. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour - had a great team 4 divisions totaling 45 personnel. Each division knew their jobs and executed.

Initial supply corps assignment as Sales and Disbursing Officer. Sales Division won the award for Best Sales and Service for 1999.

USS COLE (Pre-Com & Commissioning) DDG 67

Initially designated a Surface Warfare Officer at commissioning. I was the Ordnance Officer onboard PRECOMUNIT COLE up to her maiden deployment. Managed two divisions with 10 personnel. Responsible for the 5/54" gun, all small arms onboard, Close in Weapons System and the Gun Fire Control System.
