Commanding Officer
I was continuously recognized as one of the top infantry officers in every unit leading teams ranging from an admin shop of five soldiers to a headquarters company with over 230 soldiers. I was selected for the most difficult commands including a Battalion Headquarters Company and a Battalion Rear Detachment Company. I successfully led a platoon of 40 soldiers in one of the harshest areas of Afghanistan.
•Recognized by senior leaders as the top infantry officer in the unit for significant leadership impacts.
•Reduced reintegration processing by 75% for over 3,500 soldiers and 525,000+ pounds of equipment returning from combat.
•Coordinated over 30 meetings with and Afghan leaders to increase rapport between the Afghan community and military in a region spanning 200+ km2.
