Gregg C. Cummings BIO Gregg is a US Army Gulf War Veteran ranger, paratrooper, engineer, small arms, and recipient of 23 medals during his military career. In his civilian life he has been a Family Counselor, Police Officer and worked as a Regional Consultant for Strong America Now before coming on board with Tea Party Patriots as a National Support Team Member. Gregg, livid after hearing Nancy Pelosi (then the speaker of the house) read off the terrorist watch list, that had veterans on it for no reason other than they being veterans, the following week he attended the tax day tea party rally at the Des Moines capitol, after which he went straight home and founded We The People Tea Party of Southern Iowa. A week or so later he held his group’s first tea party rally on Memorial Day weekend to honor the Veterans from the inception of our nation to the present day. He asked all speakers to embrace veterans in the very topics they spoke about. Patriots from Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, and Illinois all gathered together at this remote rally in southern Iowa. Before the year was out, Gregg co-founded the Iowa Grassroots Coalition with his Tea Party best friend Marcia Hora and 12 other groups. This coalition started out with 13 groups and quickly grew to 47 groups throughout the state. Gregg then was sought out by Mike George, the founder of Strong America Now and the famous Lean Six Sigma (LSS) method that is used by the US Army and many civilian corporations. Lean Six Sigma is a method used to identify and eliminate fiscal fraud and waste at the same time improving productivity. The mission of Strong America Now was two-fold; to have as many voters as possible to sign a pledge to only vote for a presidential candidate willing to implement LSS across the board in the government. Gregg, along with 4 others, signed up over 27,000 Iowans to do just that. The second mission: to have all presidential candidates sign a pledge saying they will implement LSS across the board in our government of which they indeed had all candidates sign said pledge except for Obama and Romney who both declined. LSS would have paid off the entire deficit by 2017. Gregg worked for 7 years with the Tea Party Patriots Inc. on their National Grassroots Support Team, as their National State Coordinator Manager.
