Operation Desert Shield/Storm
Not a real deployment. They deployed my reserve unit to Friedberg, Germany to take over for a unit that went to Kuwait. We were held in reserve in case the ground war didn't go well, but we kall know how quickly it ended after it started. My "deployment" consisted of guard duty, training, and drinking German beer.
