Inspected and assisted in damage control corrections throughout the ship to increase the ship's mission readiness. Division Training Petty Officer -Provided instrumental training to divisional personnel in all aspects of communications Communications Watch Supervisor -Qualified Communications Watch Officer, a position usually held by a senior employee. -Lead the division to a score of 98% during the Communications Readiness Certification which made it possible for the ship to certify as ready for deployment -Recognized in performance evaluations of having knowledge in fleet communications far exceeding numerous senior employees Work-Center Supervisor -Responsible for the planning, maintenance, and upkeep of communications equipment in preparation and during deployments which increased the communication readiness of the ship -Assigned communication equipment maintenance task to employees for completion Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist -The qualification symbolized that the awardee is knowledgeable of surface naval ship operations and ship systems Awards -Awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal during communications readiness certification for the ability to educate and train John L Hall radio personnel which led to an overall score of outstanding.
