2 months unassigned Forward Observer, Assumed duties of Battery XO in late Sept, 69 through April 70. Apr 70 had command of battery for move from Phu Yen Province to Ban Me Thuot, Central Highlands RVN. 2 months Bn Arty Liaison officer to 9th ROK ID Ninh Hoa RVN after return from R&R then DROS to Ft. Sill. Five weeks of autonomous training at Pohaku Loa on the Big Island while with the 13th FA in Hawaii in preparation for battery test. Lots of fun. Yes, Passed the test going away.
