I am currently a SSG who resigned a National Guard 1LT Armor commission in 1997. I served in the ARNG for 10 years and have been on active duty ever since. I have deployed in FIVE active duty operations and TWO National Guard Contingency operations. If I would have gone on active duty in 1987 when I first joined, I would be retired now. I plan to retire as a SFC in 2017 with 30 years of service.
My professional plans for 2014 include DSDC and SLC. I will complete my bachelor's degree in March, 2014. I plan to begin my Master's degree in Criminal Justice in May 2014.
I am also training for IronMan Los Cabos, which is a full IronMan race in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in March 2014.
