JROTC Instructor for a small private boarding school in NC then became Director of Admissions and Summer Leadership Programs. Hired by Norwich University as Director of Corps Recruitment, Summer Camps and Leadership Programs. Created and/or helped establish a number of successful recruitment programs helping to significantly increase enrollment. Am now retired permanantly.

Battalion Operations Sergeant

A Btry, 2-62 ADA, 7th ID (L) | Fort Ord, CA

BN Operations Sergeant for an Air Defense Battalion with a staff of twelve soldiers. Worked with an O3 as no O4's were available at the time. Planned, coordinated, and executed a two-week annual field exercise using the Battalion Platoon Sergeants at Fort Hunter Liggett. Included flying the Battalion down and Road Marching back. Just felt it was time for the NCO's to show we could do the job. Great experience especially attending loading course with the USAF who supported the flight down.

A, B & C Btrys, 2-62 ADA, 7th ID (L) | Fort Ord, CA

Responsible for the training, health and welfare of numerous soldiers. PSG for three separate platoons...one Stinger Platoon, and two Vulcan Platoons over a three year period. At times was required to assume the position of First Sergeant. Great soldiers who did great things.
