Bio

Ryan joined the WVANG in April of 2000 and enlisted as a Pharmacy Technician while attending college at Marshall University. Ryan completed the Pharmacy Technician Course at Sheppard AFB and graduated as Distinguished Graduate. Upon phasing out Pharmacy Technicians in 2003, Ryan transferred to the Civil Engineering Squadron as a Engineering Assistant. Ryan completed the EA course at Ft Leanord Wood and quickly began putting his training to work with mini deployments to the Dominican Republic, Arizona/Mexico Border Patrol, and many Base ORE/ORI's. In 2007, Ryan was given the opportunity to attend training to become a C-130 Flight Engineer. Ryan completed all Aircrew training (Aircrew Undergraduate, Combat Survival, Water Survival, Basic Flight Engineer & C-130 Initial/Misson Qual) while participating in two rotations in Afghanistan, and multiple mini deployments around the world. Ryan completed requirements to receive his Bachelors Degree from WVUIT in May 2008 and Masters Degree from Mountain State University in July 2012. In May 2012, Ryan accepted a Federal Technician position with the Civil Engineering Squadron in CE Operations. Ryan Attended Operations Management training at Sheppard AFB and graduated as Top Graduate. Ryan continues to work in CE Operations while completing CDC's and PME.
