Bio
Theodore D. Scott, RN, MSN, FNP-C, DCNP earned his BS in Health Science and his RN while on active duty in the United States Navy. After retiring from active duty as a Chief Hospital Corpsman, he finished his MSN at the University of San Diego. After graduation, he joined Kaiser-Permanente in San Diego, first in Family Practice, and then moved to Dermatology and has been practicing medical and surgical dermatology since 2002 at KP’s San Marcos Medical Offices.
Mr Scott was in the first cohort of nurse practitioners to be certified as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner by the Dermatology Nurses Certification Board. He now lectures to national meetings and precepts DNP students from the University of San Diego
