Couldn't have picked or designed a better 22 year career. Retired from here. Then went on to be an engineer for NASA @ Armstrong Flight Research Center in CA from then to now.

Tried to extend one more year to finish a project, but was told the General said "Get off my island". 8.5 years in HI was a lot of fun. Plus over 30 TDYs to Italy and Australia.

I separated for 10.5 months. Missed the people and camaraderie. This was my first assignment back. I wanted out of here the day I got here.

Chief of Maintenance for the Comm Sq. Improved reliability / up-time of the weather radar and all the LMR radios. Developed / implemented a plan to improve the quality of the power provided to the Comm Sq. They had numerous ground loops and no adequate ground plane. Great deployment!
