Recent Activity  -

Been teaching the DARE program for the last 10 yrs. Have been working with educator during that time. Found out a lot young people have no guidance. Now working as an SRO, I'm trying to instead some self-esteem in them and provide some guidance in the choices they make. To help them I use some the experience I got in the military. Time will tell if it works. After I got out of the Army, went to Itawamba Jr. College. Got a degree in Criminal Justice. Work for the Fulton Police Dept. Itawamba Co. Sheriff's Dept. and Itawamba Comm. College Campus Police Dept. during my career. While with the Sheriff's Dept. became a D.A.R.E. Officer. Been teaching DARE for the 10yrs. Would say that is the best job I've in my Law Enforcement career. Retired on May 18th 2018 after 38 yrs in Public Service Sector, 30 yrs fulltime and 8 yrs part time.
