Bio
Joined the Hawaii Army National Guard out of high school. Went to basic and Ait at Fort Benning Georgia in the summer of 1984 and was a driver for my batt. XO. Fast forward 3 years. I Went active duty in 1987 and was assigned to the 7th infantry division (light) where I served as a grunt for three years. Deployed to Panama 4 Times, the last time for OP Just cause. ETSed in July 1990.

I was assigned to B co. 1/9 as a rifleman. Deployed to Panama in April of 1988 with Task Force Hawk as a door gunner on a UH 60 and at the end of that deployment suffered a collapsed lung. Returned to Ft. Ord and was reassigned to HHC 1/9 after B co. cohort broke up and received a new cohort straight from basic training as it's new replacement. I was reassigned to a support plt. in our battalion headquarters co. and was made a hummer driver. Deployed 3 more times to Panama and the last time for op just cause. After returning from OJC I was 4 months out to my ETs and my battalion was due for a rotation to Ft. Irwin for "NTC". After returning from that FTX , I began clearing post and ETS'ed out of the regular army and went back to my home town National Guard Unit from where I started.
