I grew up in rural west-central , Alabama and graduated from Paramount High School in Boligee. I attended Miles College in Birmingham on a football scholarship where I received a BS in H-PE and became a member of the Eta Epsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. I am married with 6 children and retired as a CO with ADOC and a SGM with USAR.
