After spending 6 years arguing with recruiters in an attempt to get a vision waiver; I finally was accepted in 2009. Went to Fort Knox, Kentucky for basic and Fort Lee, Virginia for AIT. Was deployed to Camp Buehring, Kuwait in 2011. And that about sums it up.
