I lied about my age to join I was only 16 in the Army Air Force, shipped to Okinawa and was a member of the 22nd bomber group, the B29 I was a mail clerk in the 2nd squadron, then discharged in 1947 then I enlisted in 1949 in the army training at Fort Benning GA. 1950 had parachute training and glider man shipped off to Japan then Korea.
