Orginally commissioned in the USAF and served five years as a Logistics Readiness Officer at Nellis AFB NV, CFB Cold Lake AB, and McGuire AFB NJ. Joined Nevada Army National Guard as a Battalion S4 Officer. Served for two years with six months time as a Military Technician at JFHQ Carson City. Returned to Active Duty and served as a Company Commander in Iraq and in garrison for 21 months followed by two years as an Observer Controller/Trainer.
