Bio

I retired after 24 years of service, with an almost 12 year break in service. I had five different AFSC's, and served with some amazing (and some not so amazing) people. I had occasion to work directly with members of the Army, Marines, and Navy. I served in the Regular Air Force, AF Reserves, and Air National Guard. I feel honored to have done so.

Engineering Assistant

63 Civil Engineering Squadron | Norton AFB, CA

The AFSC was titled Site Development Specialist when I first entered. Duties including drafting and surveying for construction projects, un-exploded ordinance reconnaissance, bomb damage assessment, and rapid runway recovery. I was occasionally tasked to survey drop zones and landing zones in remote areas to ensure that they had safe slope ratios for aircraft ingress and egress. I also participated as OPFOR during field exercises. I PCS'ed to Peterson AFB, CO, Jan 83.
