UNITAS VI

This was a combination Anti-Submarine Warfare training and goodwill cruise around South America. We preformed ASW exercise with the various South American navies and also engaged in sports programs with the local population. My job was as assistant to the public affairs officer for the cruise. Both he and I were attached to the Admiral’s staff.
