I attended the University of Texas at Arlington where I graduated with ROTC Distinguished Military Student and Distinguished Military Graduate designations. I received a Regular Army commission and assignment to the 82nd Airborne Division following Infantry Officer Basic. Subsequent assignments included the Field Artillery Officer Advanced Course and the 2nd Armored Division. I resigned after approximately six years to pursue a private industry career. I retired in 2017.
