Born in Indianapolis,Indiana. Received my Draft notice the last week of April,3 days into the first week of May I quit high school and joined the Army for 6 years.I was ABN Ranger trained and initially told I would be deployed to Vietnam for special duty to be determined.6 weeks of mud slinging,getting blown off my feet , 2 men in my Spl. Detachment losing their lives to a booby-trap,and a return to the US.
