Operation Desert Shield/Storm
I was the chief of optometry for the 122nd Main Support Battalion, 3rd Armored Division out of Bad Kreuznach, Germany. I was responsible for all urgent and routine eye care for the entire division. This included ensuring all soldiers had two pair of glasses and inserts for their protective masks. I also provided eye health exams and vision screenings.
