I'm a 76 year old English teacher living with my wife Mary Ann, and our dog and cat in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I was born and grew up in Boston, MA, and I'm a Vietnam veteran, USMC 1963-1967, Chu Lai, Vietnam, 1965-66. I have an MA in English Ed., and I spent much my 40 year teaching career abroad: in Shiraz, Iran . I lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for 19 years (with breaksfor the Institute of Public Administration. In between, I worked in Jakarta, Indonesia (2 years) and taught university and high school classes in the States, in FL, CO, CA, KS, MO and NM. I also taught Head Start for a year. At SFCC, I've taught ESL Transitions and other levels. After serving a few years as an Interim ESL program Manager I'm now an ESL instructor at that college. As of June, 2017, I'm now also the dog trainer at PetSmart in Santa Fe.
