Born and raised in Johnstown PA. Enlisted in the Air Force one year after high school graduation and spent 10 years in the Air Force. Got discharged in 1976 while stationed in Alaska. Have stayed in Alaska ever since working in the medical field as an Orthopedic Technician, except for 18 months when I worked in Africa on a construction job, taking care of all the employees and their dependents.
