I grew up in a foster care environment most of the folks back then up until the 90's did not respect anyone for joining any military service , I volunteered for the service when I was 18 yrs of age , and went to FT.DIX , NEW JERSEY for boot-camp training then spent two yrs, in BAMBERG, GERMANY with the 2/2 ACR HOWITZER COMPANY , then went to FT,JACKSON S.C . in 1987-2002 I was with the NORTH CAROLINA NATIONAL until retired from service , today I work at a VETERANS HOSPITAL .
