No, I didn't go to Vietnam... my unit assembled to deploy, and was starting to convoy to the airfield to load for Vietnam on the morning of 7 May 1975... when the CQ shouted "STOP THE CONVOY!!!" The War was over, stand down. 1989... White Sands, it started again. I ETS'd
