Duties included keeping services records up to date as far as promotions to the next grade. Making sure payroll, temporary duty, and permanent duties assignments are correct and orders are ready to go. Help services member with establishing their degree programs through our Educational Services Office. Also, was assistant for our physical fitness program to make sure all our service members in our command was fit. Being stationed at Yokosuka Naval Base. I learned about the Japanese culture as well as serving my country. Processed travel claims when officer and enlisted came back from TAD, or permanent duty.include: •Preparing, typing and routing correspondence and reports •Organizing and maintaining files •Receiving office visits and handling telephone communications •Operating personal computers, word processing, duplicating, audio-recording and other office machines •Performing office personnel administration •Maintaining records and official publications •Performing administrative functions for legal proceedings •Serving as office managers •Performing other various clerical and administrative duties
