A bit complicated...
spent three years as a Marine reservist MOS:1341, 1316(Welder, Heavy Engineering Equipment Mechanic), then wanting to go active Marines, was denied because "all Active duty slots were filled by less qualified Marines".
After that, I decided to hit up the Army, and was enlisted with ease into the active slot of...mech infantryman(sigh).
Oh damn, I'm out of room here!!!
