C Trp 4/9 Air Cav, 6th Air Cav Cbt Bde | Fort Cavazos, TX

Air Cav Lift Platoon. Flew air shows at Ft. Hood and Randolph AFB by San Antonio, TX Invented and fabricated over 20 Rappel Rope Deployment Bags and deployed them through my unit and also 2/1 Cav, 2nd Armored Division. I got my patent on it at the recommendation of a General who had watched me training our Deltas with several of my bags. My patent was finally issued around April 1987. I ended up letting the Army have it. I made it so our Deltas could complete their missions. That is what was most important.
