I was born in Rwanda in 1968. I came to the USA as a refugee in 1991 and settled in San Diego, CA. I joined the Army in 1992 and retired on July 31, 2013. My deployments include Bosnia (1999); Afghanistan (2002) and Iraq (2004). My overseas tours include Germany with the 1st Infantry Division (2005) and Italy with the 173rd Airborne Brigade (2006). I held the following MOS: 83E, 67S and 37F.
