Joined Marine Corps in June, 1957. After bootcamp, attended radio/telegraph operators school at MCRD. Volunteered for billet in communication section of 1st Force Recon Co., Camp Del Mar. Attended jump school, dive school and company inservice training. 53 military parachute jumps and many months aboard USS Perch diving the west coast of US and So. East Alaska. Left the Corps in 61'
