Assistant Brigade Logistics Officer (S4)

1st BCT HHC, 1st BCT, 101st ABN, XVIII ABN Corps | Fort Campbell, KY

Served under some awesome leaders like Col Mix, Col Donovan, and awesome XO, awesome peers and even was a S4 for a bit due to transition between units. A 2LT in a CPT/MAJ position was exciting and scary as hell. I worked with finance and figured out a computational error in excel and got 1st Bridge a bunch more $$$ for FY96. I modernized the publications ordering for the Bridge, tried to get every team leader a copy of FM 7-8. I helped the SIGO with MSMail. Via DTAP I took three Microsoft courses at APSU and a CTEC out of Nashville. Thank you, best year of my life even though my saddest day was 12/31/1996 at Ryan's Daughter in NYC, my final day I served on active duty due to my lower back disability and knee issue from Airborne school.
