I am a divorced, retired, disabled veteran who loves, honors, and cherishes his family. I loved my time in, but sometimes, it lingers too much. One year ago, my health turned suddenly. My line of duty injuries caught up. My combined VA rating went from 50% to 90% in months. Wheelchairs, walkers, and canes fill my days, and a medical bed my nights. God is my respite along with my service pup.
