Bio
I resigned in 1974 due to my husband's illness, recovery, and good prognosis. We wanted children and I did not believe that I could be a good officer and good mother at the same time. Many women do that well. Sadly, after two daughters were born (one in San Antonio and one in Los Angeles), my husband's illness recurred. He was medically retired and passed away in 1980, after our 10th year.
