I am currently attending college at Cleveland State University for Philosophy but I am unsure I will continue on this path. I am still trying to figure out the path I want to pursue. I am exploring options in business and computer programming. I would like to continue to give back but I haven't figured out in what way I would like to do that. Scout Sniper Team Leader

Weapons Co, 2/6, 6th Marines, 2nd MARDIV | Camp Lejeune, NC

Assisted in planning of platoon training and team development. I personally prepared my team for upcoming training and their future deployment. In one instance for two days I had to take charge of my platoon of 36 Marines while my Platoon Commander and Platoon Sergeant were away for training and everything went smooth. This is one of my greatest accomplishments. I say this because I was never able to attend the Scout Sniper Basic Course. Despite this my leaders and the school trained snipers of my platoon were confident in my skills and awarded me with this position.

2009 - 2011

Scout Sniper Assistant Team Leader

Prior to deployment I assisted in planning for platoon training and preparation for the upcoming deployment to Afghanistan. I provided feedback to my Team Leader as to the condition and welfare of the team while aiding him in mission planning. I organized and distributed our teams equipment and briefed our team on missions. While deployed all the same tasks were appointed to me while also having opportunities to plan my own missions and execute in a live combat environment with success.

2010

Military Police Officer (MP)

Weapons Co, 2/6, 6th Marines, 2nd MARDIV | Camp Lejeune, NC

I did a short tour with the MP's through the fleet assistant program. I either stood post at the gate and checked for vehicles without the proper paperwork to enter and helped prevent DUI's. I also spent some time in the squad car assisting the Sergeant with traffic stops and calls from on base housing.
