Attended Navy Boot Camp in August-October, 1979 at Great Lakes, IL. Attended BE&E, ET "A" and "C" schools at NTC Great Lakes, IL 1979-1980. Stationed at NCS, Diego Garcia all of 1981. 1982 spent three months at NCS, San Diego and then off to NCS, Harold E Holt, Western Australia from April, 1984 for 27 months. Attended TPX-42V(10) Air Traffic Control IFF school in Millington, TN and then spent last 2.5 years active duty at NAS, Key West Ground Electronics.
I spent 23 years in the Navy Reserve starting at St Petersburg/Clearwater NRC. Member of NR MOTU 10/12 at NRC, Tampa Bay, FL. Made ETC at NRC, Orlando in 1989. Transferred to Oklahoma City NRC in 1990 and joined MIUWU 113 for four years and picked up CWO2. Severed as IUWUG1's Staff EMO in San Diego, CA for two years (95-97) and picked up CWO3. Selected as OIC of Seal Beach Weapon Station Det. 14 out of OKC. Advanced to CWO4. Selected as CO, NR MOMAU9 in October, 2001 thru March, 2010 at FT Worth, TX at which time I retired with 31 total years. Would love to hear from old shipmates from any point in my career!
