I was the 17 year old sailor who was raped by Anthony Edleman and the other 12 men under his cmd. of F/W div. of CV-62 and then they all tried to kill me for coming fwd. to seek help, though the Capt. and superiors all tried to cover up the whole rape incident. I was locked in the brig until discharged in July 1986 because I refused to sign documents and help them cover up what happened to me.

Fire watch
Saved 5 men from CHT inferno just aft of Qtr. Deck, below hangar deck, while the others where derelict of duty and stoned. I took my job and training seriously and it paid off saving those lives. Unfortunately,13 of the bad sailors in my division decided to rape me for having done my job well, which resulted in life long physical injuries and PTSD. Capt. Carlson covered up the entire incident and then brigged me to silence me. I was discharged a few months later but finally began to get some help in 1995 and have been trying to deal with all of this with very little help. Gotta love how the VA treats us. They make promises but never back them up with effort.
