I was honorably discharged from the army in January 1977. I joined the Bayonne police department in March of 1974, where I retired in February 2001. I received several commendations for excellent police work. When I retired my wife and I moved to Florida.

I was assigned to a rifle squad, the I was assigned to a weapons squad, 90 mm rocket launcher. I was ten assigned to the motor pool as a driver for our company XO. I was reassigned to a rifle squad and as an RTO. In October I relieved orders relieving me of active duty and rotated back to the states.
