Graduated from college in June, 1967, and took a 4 month motorcycle trip through Europe (permission granted by my local draft board) and then volunteered for the draft in April, 1968. Basic at Fort Ord and assignment to Military Intelligence School at Ft. Holabird, MD. Qualified in German as a second language and trained as an interrogator. All who completed that course made SP4. Sweet!
