Scout/Sniper
Member of the original 8541s, youngest sniper on the hill, 17, received PFC when transferred to Quantico, double promotion to Cpl. for designated requirements, top 3% of class. Served under Maj. Land and Gunny Hathcock was platoon leader. 3 tours served. Bob Matthews was my spotter. Went under nickname of feather foot.
