DANIEL C. DEVINE, EXDIR OFFICE OF ENGAGEMENT AND MEMORIAL INNOVATIONS National Cemetery Administration Mr. Daniel “Danny” Devine selected as Executive Director of the Office of Engagement and Memorial Innovations, July 2018. Responsible for managing key strategic initiatives, digitizing the memorialization experience; expanding outreach to the Veteran community and developing partnerships. A member of the SES since February 2007. Serving as SrAdv to former VA Secretaries Nicholson and Peake; SrAdv to VA Deputy Secretaries Mansfield and Bowman; DepDir VBA’s Compensation Service; Deputy Assistant Secretary for Congressional and Legislative Affairs and DAS for Public Affairs. Worked on the House Committee on Veterans Affairs as Professional Staff for Veterans Benefits and Committee Communications Director. Graduate of the Interagency Institute for Federal Health Care Executives, and the Federal Executive Institute. Earned Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism from Univ. of Maryland; graduate of the Defense Information School. 2009 recipient of the AMVETS Silver Helmet Award.
