My US Army Service Began On April 10, 1975 and Lasted Until May 30, 1979. The Physical Benefit and Comradeship Were The Two Positive Energy Emotions I Truly Miss Now That I'm No Longer Active. Expert Field Medical Badge As Well As Expert Rifleman Were My Qualifications and I Was A 'KornFused' Young Fella During My Time of Service. I Was Usually Assigned To The MotorPool. Hence In Germany, My Assignment Was As The Commander's Driver. In The States, I Was Only Assigned Once To A Hospital Unit At Fort Order Where I Contacted Hepatitis C. Next Thing I Know Being Too Sick With Yellowish Eyes and Skin, I Was Sent Home To Recover. Convalescent Leave For I Believe Three Weeks!
