Bio

I was raised in 665 West i60th St. in Manhattan New York, my mother Emma was a homemaker and raised 11 children, 8 females, and 3 boys. My dad was a baker for a large baking company in Mount Vernon, New York. I grew up watching combat and was always fascinated by the combat scenes during WWll. When I turned 17 years old, I convince Mom and Dad to sign for me to join the army. The rest is history!

Military Experiences

Feb 1994 - Jan 1998
NCOIC Malone Training ranges
My last duty station; Trained basic and AIT soldiers entering the army, military personnel on the semiannual weapon qualifications, ran the hand grenade qualification range, the M60 live-fire basic training course with live ammo, and the urban terrain warfare course. The army gave me one whole year to train in my new career in Law enforcement. Went from the fire right into the frying pan. Boots on the ground during 911 at the pentagon.

B Co
Platoon Sergeant/ TNG NCO

Jungle warfare type of training, map reading, navigation, Unit level exercises, repelling, the UCMJ, and weapons training with The M16A2s and the M60s. Constant matching drilling to establish esprit de corps!
Jan 1983 - Jan 1986
2-508 PIR
Training NCO and Re-enlisting NCO
I was responsible for training new arrivals to our company B of the 2/508th Arbonne Infantry Unit. I jumped with my unit into Panama for the jungle warfare training course on February 1984. The platoon I was leading came in first but that was the second time I was in Panama and knew the area very well. I was also the reenlistment NCO for the 2/508th. My Cmdr. at the time was LTC Henry H. Shelton, who got promoted to full COL and became our Brigade CDR. He went on to become the Army Chief of staff. I ran into him again during 9/11 at which time I was a federal law enforcement officer. Shelton was a really tall man and a mean dude.
