As Community Builder for the Veterans Health Administration's Innovation Ecosystem, Matt Rowley is responsible for increasing engagement with key stakeholder groups around Veterans Health innovation efforts.
Prior to his current role, Matt served as the VISN 4 Patient Experience Officer, where he was responsible for overall coordination of the Patient Experience and Patient Advocacy programs across nine VA Medical Centers. He also previously served as the Chief of Employee Engagement for the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Chief of Veteran Experience, and as the Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff. Prior to his VA career, he served as an Intelligence Analyst in the US Air Force, and was deployed to Iraq as a member of a joint special operations task force.
When not at work, Matt enjoys writing and recording music and spending family time with his wife and two daughters.
