From Southwest Philly. West Catholic High School for Boys. Drafted in April 68. Basic training at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, AIT (infantry) training at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Fort Lewis Washington to Cam Rahn in September of 68. From there, C-130 up to Pleiku Province, Camp Enari. Helocopterd up to a Firebasee. Served with Company B, 1st of the 8th, 4th Infantry Division. Wounded in action when we went down into the valley to take out 'the road,' a section of mud road under the triple canopy of jungle, which the NVA used to haul supplies South.
