Part of the rear Fire Control team, Not allowed to do anything except stand watches, while Operational Mk 86 evaluation. Bridge talker and had to inform the Captain that the fuse setting machine was shearing off the 5" projectile fuses, In other words almost died in a magazine explosion in the Bermuda Triangle.

USS Warrington (DD843) LANTFLT
Maintain and operate Mark 1A GFC computer Mk 25 radar and director. Computer was 1940s started with a crank and ticked. Not good for tracking MIGs who could bread the sound barrier. A lot of independent operations out of Newport RI. First visit to Gitmo. and San Juan PR. Spot myself $20 and see how long it took to loose it.
