Joined the Navy in 1987 and retired as a Combat Veteran in 2007. I've been around the world twice and am forever grateful to my first duty station leaders for guiding and mentoring me into a highly successful career. The only thing missing was more sea-time that would have helped me make Chief Petty Officer.
