When I was 8 years old I watched a television series called "12 O'Clock High" based on the exploits of the B17's flying out of England during WWII. I was determined from that point on that I would join the USAF. I enlisted when I was 17 and entered basic training 2 months after turning 18. If I have any regrets...it's that I didn't make a career of it...
